Holandia, Timipotu News ---- Hubertus Mabel (30) is one of a founder of KNPB who led exodus of the West Papua student in Manado, Nort Sulawesi to West Papua and joined with Buchtar Tabuni, Mako Tabuni, Victor Yeimo and others activist to establish KNPB and committed to the civil resistant. He is a leader for the militant of KNPB with the function to secure internal KNPB in every demonstration and other agendas.
Hubertus Mabel is one of the freedom fighter who has militant and radical in strengthen the resistant of KNPB. He has mediated The West Papua Liberation Army (TPN/OPM) to have reconciliation between each others. He has inspired so many young West Papuan to stand strong in fight for the right of freedom.
Indonesian police through chef of Papua Police, Tito Karnavian and its solders Densus 88 have made a scenario through labelling the KNPB's activist in Wamena as terrorist where the Densus 88 make a bom scenario and blame them as perpetrators. Then Huber and other KNPB's activists listed as most wanted.
Densus 88 and Police shot him dead in Sunday morning (16/12) where he was with family in his Village Kurima Wamena to celebrate christmas month. Then Indonesian police with their local and national media reported that Hubert carried out fighting when he was arresting then police said they shot him dead. This is propaganda report to justify police as right side in killing Hubert, in the same case with the killing of Mako Tabuni.
Indonesian police also killed Natalis Alua, a member of KNPB in Wamena together with Hubertus. A day before killing, Indonesian police arrested Simion Dabi (chairman of KNPB Wamena ), Wene Helakombo (chairman of KNPB's Yalimo) also with Meki Kogoya, Jhon Huby, Pie Huby and Herae Huby.
Hubertus Mabel has died in the same date where 3 years ago on 16th Dec 2009, Kelly Kwalik shot dead by Densus 88 in Timika. (Victor Y.)
